In February 2012 61 homes sold in the Lake Norman area, a 27.1% increase from the 48 homes sold in January. February 2012 sales figures increased 35.6% from February 2011 when 45 homes sold in the Lake Norman area.
The average sales price increased 18.7% from $391,015 in January to $464,026 in February. The February 2012 average sales price increased 29% from the February 2011 average sales price which was $359,736.
Average days on the market decreased 25.3% from 182 days in January to 136 days on the market in February. February 2011 average days on the market were 150, a 9.3% decrease in market time.
Currently there are 652 homes for sale in the Lake Norman MLS area. The average home is a 3 bed/3 bath with 3,374 square feeet and an average list price of $643,099 up .5% from the January average list price of $639,981. The average days on the market are 184. 54 Lake Norman homes are currently under contract, down 46.5% from January! (more…)
